Continuous Laminating

Continuous Laminating

Continuous Laminating

Continuous laminating is a processing method used to produce flat, corrugated, transparent or colored sheets at a high production speed. This method is preferred especially for the production of foam sandwich panels, refrigerated vehicle panels, truck panels, and RV panels. Polipol 361-L provides transparent material with UV resistance, Polipol 765 has high surface quality and low fiber print through in gelcoated applications. Polipol 309 is used when light transparency and flame retardant properties are needed.

It is possible to produce flat, corrugated, transparent or colored sheets at a high processing speed with continuous laminating.

Continuous Lamination Diagram

Continuous Laminating is a processing method to produce flat, corrugated, transparent or colored sheets either with or without gelcoat at a high processing speed with high surface quality.

① Catalyzed resin is poured onto the carrier film.

② Glassfiber roving is chopped onto the resin.

③ Apply the gelcoated film over this mixture.

④ Compaction cylinders provide structural integrity and uniform sheet thickness.

⑤ Move carrier film into the curing oven.

⑥ Cut sheets into the desired dimensions at the end of the line.
